Franky is a young-generation coffee farmer in Huila, Colombia in the town of Acevedo. He is highly dedicated to producing high-quality coffees and he is also a trained barista. We met Franky on our trip to Colombia and wanted to support him by buying his coffees which we received for the first time in January 2020.
This coffee lot is created with a delicate Gesha variety. Franky has developed his own fermentation processes at his farm El Encanto and this lot is a beautiful product of that signature process. It gives the gesha a round, smooth body, lots of sweetness, and pleasant acidity. As it cools down, it becomes a bit more tea-like.
